How do I customize a design?
Once you place your order, you will receive an email from your personal designer within 24-48 hours to begin working on your proof. They will email you from orders@audreyandbear.com so be sure to check your spam and junk folders for that if you don't not see it in your inbox within that time frame. You can work with your design to change any of the colors, font, and the scaling of the design. Why do A&B products cost what they do?
When you purchase from A&B, you are supporting a company that makes all our products by hand in our studio in Utah. We use only the best quality fabric that is soft and stretchy to make swaddling easier for you and better for your baby. For every swaddle purchased, we donate one to a baby in the NICU through our giveback program, swaddle4swaddle. All of these decisions contribute to the cost of our products, but we think it's worth it to make the highest quality swaddles, handmade to order in the USA and to support our community and hospitals. What is the turnaround time?
Each item is made to order in our studio and sewn up by a small team of incredible people. Once you approve your digital proof by your personal designer, It takes us 2-3 weeks to create it, then we will ship it to you. You will get an email with tracking as soon as your order has shipped. Rush production and rush shipping options are also available at checkout.
What does single-sided vs. double-sided mean?
Double-sided swaddles are two layers of fabric, with a personal design on one side and a coordinating pattern on the back. Single-sided swaddles are one layer of fabric with a design only on one side.
What swaddle size should I get?
For most people, we recommend the square double-sided swaddle, as it's the best size to grow with your baby. For more information on the different sizes, watch this video.
If I see a swaddle design I like, but it's not in a different product that I want, can I still order it?
We have over 100 designs and we are not always able to list every design and product combination on our website. With the exception of the canopy tents and the floor pillows, you can get ANY design on ANY product, even if you don't see it listed. Just order the product in any design (for example, a big kid blanket) and once we have the order a designer will email you. When they do you can tell them which design you’d like to switch to (for example a swaddle design).
Can I get one or two names on the blanket or no names?
Yes, we can put just the baby's first name, their full name, or put no name on the blanket. Put "no name" in the name spot if you don't want a name on the product
