If you’ve placed an order with us, it is likely you’ve had the pleasure of messaging with this mother of two.   I did a fun, little interview with Harmonee to help you get to know her better.   A bit like Vogue’s 73 Questions, but just 23 questions.  Would that make it … Audrey & Bear 23 Questions???   Hmm… Whoops, I digress.  Okay, let’s do this…

What is your role at Audrey & Bear?

I handle customer service, designing, and proofing.

How long have you worked for AB?

Over two years.

What is a fun fact about you?

I have a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management.

When not at work, what are your favorite things to do?

Spend time with my family.

What advice would you give another mom just starting a career working from home?

Manage your time and make sure your kids come first.

How do you balance working from home and time spent with your family?

This is something that is a daily task for me. Some days I have more work to do than others. On the days I have less, I try to make sure we get out and do fun things and on the days I have more we stay home and do activities here. I always put my children and husband first and just manage my time. I know how long it takes me to do certain things in my job and I get those things done when my kids are sleeping or having independent play. I love being able to work from home, it gives me something else to do and think about, but at the end of the day my family comes first and is my first priority. Through keeping them first, I am able to manage my time.

What is a trick in your mom bag you’d like to share with other work-from-home-moms?

I have found that it is really good for my daughter to learn how to play alone and entertain herself. I’ve seen her learn and grow so much through this.  I try my best to make sure she has some fun and engaging toys or activities during this time. One activity I like to set my daughter up with while I work, so she can have some independent play time, is a sensory bin.

What is your favorite Audrey & Bear product?

The swaddle blankets.  They are the only blankets I use for swaddling my kids, because I can get them nice and snug while still looking cute. :)

How has working from Audrey & Bear impacted your life?

Working for AB has allowed me to stay home with my babies, while still being able to contribute to my family’s finances.  It also allows me to have a career that helps me learn and grow.

-I get to help contribute to my family’s finances.

-I get to help create items for people that allow them to celebrate the life of their baby.

-I get to talk with other moms and grandmothers on a daily basis.

-I get to be creative.

What is one thing that, pre-child, you swore your children would never do, but they most certainly have?

I hoped my child would never poop in the tub...but it’s happened more than I care to think about!

Quincee is almost 2.5 and Gannon is 5 months.
